Sean O'Keefe is your guide when you book a trip with Backwater Fishing. He has lived in key west for 45 years and has been fishing the flats and backcountry of Key West and the lower Keys year round as a fully licensed full time professional guide for 35 years. His boat (Backwater) is a comfortable 17 foot custom Action Craft powered with a Mercury 115HP PROXS 4 stroke outboard motor. The fully insured boat is suitable for the Captain and up to two anglers.

While fishing, we will primarily employ the method of poling the boat while stalking and sight casting the shallows with either fly, spin, plug casting tackle or use live bait depending on the preference of the angler.
